Be a Part of Our Children's Choir

Our Children's Choir under the direction of our Music Director, Bruce Mauro is looking for some new voices!!! If you like to sing, we would love to have you help us lead the Church in song at Mass. 
The Children's Choir is open to boys and girls in Grades 3-8. There are 2 Sunday morning rehearsals per month and after the 2nd rehearsal, the choir will sing at the 10:30am Mass. The next rehearsal is this Sunday, October 2 at 9:45pm.  The students will leave Religious Ed early and meet in the Parish Center Chapel for rehearsal and will be finished in time to attend the 10:30am Mass.

Religious Education Events and Class Updates

With the looming storm, we have cancelled Religious Education Classes for Tuesday, January 27.

Our Confirmation makeup class for tonight will be postponed to Thursday, February 5 from 7-8:30pm. Anyone who missed class in December must attend this class.

Our Children's Choir Rehearsal which was scheduled for 4pm today is also cancelled.

We welcome any child in Grades 3-8 to come and join us to sing with us at our Masses.

Our next rehearsal will be on Sunday, February 1 at 9am.  The Children's Choir will then also sing at the 10:30am Mass on February 1.  We hope you can join us in this joyful ministry.

Joyful Noise Children's Choir

We will have our first meeting for the Children's Choir this Sunday. 
Children in Grades 4-8, who are interested in singing are invited to come with their Parents at 9:00am (during Religious Ed class) to the Chapel located in the Parish Center, where you will meet with Bruce Mauro, our Music Director. 

The children will be dismissed from rehearsal to class at 9:30am.  There will be a brief presentation and Q & A with the parents as well as an exchange of pertinent contact information.

The schedule for this Sunday is as follows:

9:00 a.m.       Parent and child come to chapel

9 - 9:30 a.m.  Children dismissed to Religious Education

9:30 - 9:45     Parents' meeting

***  The rehearsal scheduled for Monday, Oct. 6th has been changed to Tuesday Oct. 7th from 3:45 -4:45.  The other two Monday dates will be discussed at the parent meeting.

Children's Choir will begin this Fall

Beginning this Fall for Grades 4-8, we will begin a Children's Choir,  under the direction of Bruce Mauro our Music Director. The choir will meet 2 times a month in October, November, and December to practice and learn songs that will be sung during the Christmas season.

More information will be available during our first class on September 14 and look for the Children's Choir table at our Ministry Fair on Sunday, September 28.
